DESCRIPTION

The main objective of “Co-habitat” is to promote sustainability as well as to foster rural development, through the activities that will be developed in vegetable gardens of Villasur de Herreros and through activities focused on sustainable development and environmental protection issues. Furthermore, the project will represent an intercultural learning opportunity for the volunteers and entities involved, who will participate in the project to promote cooperation and solidarity, responding to the programmatic strategy of the European Solidarity Corps. El Puchero de Villasur, the hosting organization, was founded in 2018 by an initiative for the conscious supply of food following organic farming methods and recovering animal traction for agricultural work. El Puchero de Villasur aims to establish a direct relationship between production and consumption, thanks to which a deep knowledge between both parties is facilitated, as well as the problems related to production and its impact on the territory.
